Protein-banana bread


If you like banana bread you will love this recipe because it contains a high amount of protein. So, perfect for those who want to try a healthier version of the good old and yummy banana bread.


  • 160g whole grain flour
  • 60g Stevia
  • 3 tbs vanilla flavoured protein powder
  • 2 tbs backing powder
  • ½ tbs cinnamon
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2-3 small ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 60ml water (or almond milk)
  • 110g applesauce
  • 1 tbs vanilla extract
  • 30g chopped walnuts

1. Put the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix them together.

2. Add the two egg whites, the applesauce, vanilla extract and the water. 

3. Mash the bananas in another bowl with a fork and add to the mixture.

4. Chop the walnuts (as small as you like) and add them, too.

5. Now put the mixture in a baking dish and leave it in the oven for 40 - 45 minutes at 180 degree celsius.

6. Viola! Enjoy!
